A graduate of the prestigious Juilliard School of Music in New York City, Pete Masitti has earned a reputation as an accomplished producer, recording engineer, song writer, musician and educator.  After earning his Masters Degree in Music Production from the University of Miami, he opened up West End Recording Studios, where he has been doing the majority of his work for over 20 years.

He has written, produced, played on sessions, or mixed and mastered for numerous major label acts including Kelly Rowland, Toni Braxton, Snoop Dogg, Hootie and the Blow Fish,  Luis Miguel, Paul Stanley of KISS, Julio Iglesias (Sr and Jr), Geri Halliwell (The Spice Girls), Shakira, Amy Grant, Danny Wood of New Kids on the Block, Taylor Dayne, Olga Tanon, OSX (The Baja Men),  KC and the Sunshine Band, Mana, Yolandita and many more

As a Composer/Producer Pete has placed songs in both commercials and episodes airing on network and cable television including national spots for Dancing With The Stars,  MTV, Monday Night Football, The Shield, All My Children, Bridezillas, E True Hollywood Story as well as hundreds of others.  He co-wrote and produced the track "Lonely Boy" which was featured in the 2017 Golden Globe winning feature film "Elle".  His most recent film scoring credit was for the critically acclaimed independent film “Trouble in the Heights”.  Pete has been producing and composing for Audio Network (one of the worlds leading music libraries} for over 10 years  With over 225 songs and counting currently active in the library his music is being used daily all over the globe.

As a musician, he has toured as a keyboardist/vocalist with several major artists including Shakira, David Lee Roth, and Julio Iglesias Jr., for whom he also served as musical director.  Pete also released several solo albums and most recently was front man for the pop rock band "Beddy Ford".

As an educator Pete has been a vocal coach and musical mentor to numerous aspiring artists, many of which have gone on to build successful careers of their own.  He was also an adjunct professor at the college level having taught classes in audio engineering and music production at MDC in Miami. In addition to private vocal training he's also currently offering one on one coaching (to motivated students only) in the following disciplines: Pro Tools Training, Music Production, Songwriting, Music Theory/Ear Training, Performance Skills, Commercial Piano Playing and Guitar for Songwriters.
