A graduate of the prestigious Juilliard School of Music and the University of Miami, Pete Masitti has spent over two decades building a career as a producer, songwriter, recording engineer, and educator. From the studio to the stage, Pete brings a unique blend of professional achievement and real-world experience that sets him apart as both an artist and mentor.

As a producer and songwriter, Pete has collaborated with major artists across pop, R&B, and Latin music — including Shakira, Julio Iglesias, Toni Braxton, Snoop Dogg, Luis Miguel, Paul Stanley of KISS, and many others. His credits also extend to television and film, with songs placed on shows such as Dancing With the Stars, MTV, Monday Night Football, The Shield, All My Children, and feature films like Trophy Boy (Golden Globe–winning short). With more than 300 songs licensed worldwide, Pete’s music continues to reach audiences across the globe.

Performing with international artists on stages around the world

On stage, Pete has toured internationally as a keyboardist and vocalist, performing with Julio Iglesias and other acclaimed artists. He has also written, recorded, and released his own solo albums, earning recognition for his versatility as both a performer and songwriter.

As an educator, Pete has dedicated his career to guiding aspiring artists and producers. He has taught at the college level in audio engineering and production, and through West End Recording Studios, he now offers personalized one-on-one training in Pro Tools, Music Production, Audio Engineering, Music Theory, Piano, and Guitar for Songwriters. His approach combines industry-proven techniques with the encouragement and mentorship students need to thrive.
